Friends are like....

I really needed to create today.... it was a must... but I couldn't really concentrate... still have all the funeral things to do... but this doll reminded me of my MawMaw... so I decided even though this was a pretty simple card that I would do it in honor of her... Thank you for all the prayers...and for looking at my card. Hugs, Jeannie

CRICUT & GYPSY
Christmas Solutions
Doll cut @ w 2.42 x 2.50.
I cut her 6 times so I could paper piece her..and she doesn't come in layers... there are two cuts in yellow for the layers of hair... 2 cuts in red for the dress and bow.... one in off white for the skin...and once in brown for the belt and the shoes... some of her peices are pop-dotted and some are just layered one on top of the other.
Storybook
Frames cut @ w 3.0 x h 2.0 and 3.25 x h 2.26.
I just duplicated the smaller one and tapped the enlarge button 3 times.
All other cuts are made with my paper trimmer.
Lots of brown in and chalk.Below is how my Gypsy screen looked just before I printed...I did delete my notes at the bottom left.... the square in the middles is saved and opened as a template so I can lay my images out in it for sizing... it is the size of an A2 card and does not print when opened as a template.

I have had lots of positive feedback from these shots...but a negative one or two comments also... so if they are helpful to you please let me know and I will keep posting them.

oh Jeannie, she is beautiful!
I like it when you post the gypsy mat. even though I don't have the gypsy, it give me a visual idea of sizes, so if it is not too much trouble, please keep posting.

I am saddened for your loss but glad you could find some small measure of solace in crafting. I really like that you show us the cricut mat with the placement and sizes. Please continue to do that and thanks for sharing with us even in the midst of your grief.

Hello Jeannie,
I am happy that you find comfort in crafting during this difficult time. And despite that you still have time for a thought or two for your blog followers. I hope you know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I thank you for posting the gypsy mat ( i don't have one but I ordered the ds to learn) but I still like how thinks are laid out. So thank you for taking the time to add that as well. Tske care and hugs to you and your family.

Wow, this card is amazing, and that doll!!! I don't think I'd have thought to do that, but I might try this technique now. And I thank you for posting the gypsy mats, I do have the G and I find the mats useful when looking at your projects!

Jeannie,
I just read your blog, so sorry to
hear about your Grandma. Please know that she's at peace in our loving Savior's arms. It's so hard for us to accept and let go when a loved one passes. Keep the
good memories alive and know that your Grandma is watching over you all!
Hugs to you,
Maryellen

Oh Jeannie, what a difficult time for you. I have said a prayer for you and your family. Sharing your stories of your time with your grandmother is such a blessing. Thank you for that.

In regard to your postings, I love them. I can't afford a gypsy right now, but do have the DS. You are helping me so much in understanding its use. I love the template idea. I would like to know how to do that without it printing. Tha is a great tool.

Your cards are gorgeous. Many thanks for blessing us during your time of need.

I visit daily just to see what you have made. I have made some of them and it has help alot to have the sizes posted. I don't have a gypsy and I miss having the sizes listed so I can case your cards. Can you add them for those of us who can't buy the new gyspy?
Thanks

Jeannie, I"m so sorry for your loss and will keep you in prayer. This little card with the doll is adorable! So sweet. I don't have the Gypsy but do have DS and so I think it is helpful to see those screen shots. Keep your chin up!

Jeannie, I love your work so much, I had to make a blog just so I could comment. I'm kinda computer illiterate, so it was not easy! I love your work, your obvious love of crafting and what you do. So sorry to hear about your grandmother. Time eases pain...God is good. I hope he comforts you at this time. I bought a gypsy from HSN and feel like you should be hired from provocraft to help people learn how to use it. Your showing the work on the mats is incredible. I would have never thought of doing that! You are amazing. Keep up the great work. We love it! Feel better, and hugs back!

Jeannie, I love the card. Please keep showing how you lay it out on the gypsy mat. My gypsy is due in Nov and I am using you as a tutorial.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time.
