I have been thinking all day on a Mother’s Day card for my mom… I keep being nudged to go look at my papers…. Did I listen… not at first… I kept going through my Gypsy looking at my cuts…nothing was coming to me…. God kept nudging me to go look at my papers… when I did just that there it was the card I needed in my first stack of papers…when I saw the papers I knew exactly what I wanted to do!!… next time I will listen… I hope!… thank you so much for looking… I love your comments.. Stretch Your Imagination

Birdhouse, its shadow and its layer cut @ h 3.28 set the height and the width will be right… on the Cricut I would cut these @ 3 ¼ inches.

Happily Ever After - Disney

Birds and their layer cut @ h 1 inch .. Set the height and the width will be right… on the Cricut I would cut these @ 1 inch.

Zoobaloos

Branches and their layers cut @ h 1.32 ….set the h and the width will be right… I flipped two of the branches up…and welded two together… see mat shot below….on the Cricut I would cut these at 1 ½ inches.

Give a Hoot

Leafs cut @ w 0.84 x h 0.53 …I used the extra leaves to add to the branches and behind the birdhouse…see video …on the Cricut I would cut these @ ½ an inch.

Southside, AlI received a text message the other day from Grace... she is the sweetheart of Craig a young man that I work with.... that I love dearly... and Grace is a real doll... she hugs my neck and you know that I love that!!!... any way her text message said "Jeannie will you make a card for my mom?" ... I couldn't resist... her mom loves Daffodil's so that is what I wanted to make for her... and since her love for her mom is so big.... I decided to make her Daffodil big too! ... I though there was one on one of the cartridges and wa-la I found one!!... was really nervous about being able to color it up pretty.... I was pleased at how it turned out... I hope that Andrew is... Flowers cut from paper twice on the front of the card and layered and popped.
Lots of inking.

This card was so inspired by a dear friend of mine, Cheryl Becker!!.... I needed to make a card today for sweet Brittney at work for her mom for Mother's Day.... and I just couldn't get started... I have had bad anxiety the past two days and it has frozen me....so I am very thankful for Cheryl's beautiful IA card because it got me going... and at least while I was creating my anxiety was gone... say a prayer for me that this anxiety goes away today!!... soon!!... thank you so much for looking! ~~Hugs, Jeannie

Swirl cut from SYI... left over I think it was cut @ 3 inches...I trimmed lots of it away.
Lots of inking and some chalking.

Tree cut @ 8 inches... regular cut in green and layer cut in brown.
Birds and nest cut @ 1 inch... 2 on regular cut in blue one on layer cut in brown.
I cut 2 so I could cut the bird away for the inside the bird for the inside.

Mother's Day Card

I love cards that are labors of love...this one is for my mom... I used my Cricut Expressions of course... my favorite tool.... the frame is from Accent Essentials at 3 inches real dial size..the inside frame is 2.5 inches... the bird house is 1.75 inches and the layer feature also used...cut with Stretch Your Imagination... and there are two vines cut at 2.5 inches with the layer feature used... the flowers are from the floral dept and taken apart... much cheaper that way... I colored the edges of the pedals with pink coral ink... I used three inks on this card a brown, a green and a coral pink...This card was inspired by a card by Danielle Flanders...I discovered her work at the Scrapbook.com gallery... her blog is http://www.danielleflanders.blogspot.com/ ,

I hope my mom loves it.

Mother's Day Card

I went through my cart handbooks looking for ideas for Mothers Day... Here is one of my Mothers Day cards... I used my Cricut Expressions of course... the Stretch Your Imagination cart for the bird houses... both cut at 1 1/2 inches...the inside one is just the shadow..the cover bird house is 3 cuts..reg... shadow and layer.....the water can is from the same cart cut at 1 3/4 inches all three cuts again... the flying birds are from Paper Pups cut at 1 1/12 inch on fill option....Jasmine corners cut at 1 1/12 inches real dial size the tiny pearls are attached with Liquid Glass..the flowers are a punch... I am really excited about this card.

Mothers Day Card

I bought me a new stamp at Hobby Lobby this week... when I finished coloring it and started deciding what to do with it I just kept thinking that the mom had the butterfly look over her eggs while she went to get some nourishment and how sweet that was.... so this is what I came up with... the heart is from the George Cricut cart at 4 inches and the words are both from Beyond Birthdays cart.. mom is at 1/2 inch and love is at 1 inch.... I used brown ink on the stamp and I colored the rest with colored pencils and then blended the color with mineral spirits.... I cut out the stamp after coloring it.. then attached it to brown paper and cut out the mat.... I needed it to pop off the page better.
