This is a hat set that I was blessed to make.... Many thanks to my dear friend Ms Kay for teaching to me look for and recognize Gods blessings!!
This I was super excited about!  So excited with the outcome... I did the ewrap stitch on a DaLooms regular gauge hat loom... increasing to the point of the scarf then decreasing back to the other side....I did a crochet border. It is basically a simple prayer shawl on a smaller scale.

I made this hat for my dear friend, MaryEllen's son, Harrison... he loves Angry Birds...I made it to small so I will have to make him a new one. I just was not thinking... if you know of a child up to about age 3 that would love this hat please let me know.

I love to make  Hat/Scarf combo... they are one of my favorite things to make.  This is the frist one I made with just one yarn color...I really like how it turned out!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my creations.
May God truly bless your life.

I made this on my largest round Knifty Knitter loom... it is my favorite scarf/hat so far.  My daughter, Madison ask me to make it for her mother-in-law.  I had made Madison one for Christmas and she work it to Cory's family Christmas... Judi loved her scarf/hat... now she will have one of her own.  I tried it on to see how it fits... it is so so warm...I need to make me one before next winter!!...I so hope that Judi loves it.

Scarf/Hat Blue, Beige and Brown (Knifty Knitter)

Designed by Jeannie Phillips ~ Southide Al
I made this on my Knifty Knitter... this is my new favorite thing to make... I am thinking about putting this one on Etsy!!.... just haven't gotten up my nerve yet!!... I used the largest round Knifty Knitter... on the brim I used the knit, purl stitch so its good and stretchy... it is right at 5 feet long with the pom poms ... thank you so much for looking!

Watch for my next project... I am going to increase stitches and make the "bag" part of the hat larger than the Knifty Kitter... I have it in my head... so hoping this works!!... wish me luck!

Madison's Scarf/Hat Original Design Made on my Knifty Knitters!!

Original Design by Jeannie Phillips ~ Southside, AL
I am so so excited about this scaf/hat... I made a scarf I didn't like... so when this turned out so pretty I was so excited...My daughter, Madison has an bright orange really warm coat... this is to go with that coat... I got her on the phone to see her reactions when she saw the picture... she loves it!!.. It is an original design.. no pattern...and I did some really fun stitches... there are close ups of some of those in pictures below.... it is just over 5 feet long including the pom poms... I knitted it on the larger round loom... I did knit, pearl stitches for the brim... the thicker yarn made it a little looser than I wanted it to be... keep that in mind... I do have the new purple loom ordered... I am so excited about the size and the fact that the pegs are closer... The closer pegs will make the stitches show up better.... Thank you so much for looking!  Hugs, Jeannie

My Scaf/Hat

Handmade by Jeannie Phillips ~ Southside, AL
Robby and I went to Gatlinburg this past week for our 30th anniversary (October 4th).  We went to this gallery with all handmade items.... there was this wonderfully sweet lady there that has been knitting as a profession since 1979...on needles... she had the most beautiful hand made things... and inspired me so much to try things beyond the norm.... we talked forever!!... she had this most beautiful hat/scarf combination.... she used several kinds stitches on her scarf/hat....well I had, HAD to come home and make me one!!...in the process I have learned that there is basically 3 stitches...the e-wrap, knit and purl...and there is the yarn over...where you put one stitch over to the next peg...and there is knit together where you knit two stitches together... you get all different kinds of looks with how you combine these stitches.....Since this lady's scarf/hat has so many different stitches I wanted to try and get the same effect.... I am so excited about how this turned out.

On this Scarf/Hat I used the largest round loom...and to make the rim I used the knit and pearl stitch (I learned thses on You Tube)...I did 1 knit 2 pearl all around the loom...it works beautifully...it looks so little when you take it off the loom but it stretches as big as the loom...and it stretches beautifully... I still pulled it up through the middle and put the loose bottom over the pegs.

Thank you so so much for looking!!... Hugs Jeannie
