Wanted Your Love

Degned by Jeannie Phillips

I was pleased with this card when I finished... I said a prayer for a pretty card today.... and this is what I got. I was so excited when the shadow of the heart welded right in the swirly square... the sentiment came about because of the paper choice... the paper is what inspired the card.

CRICUT & GYPSY
Home Decor
Larger heart and its shadow...(welded to the swirly square) cut @ h 2.72 the height will be right when you set the width... on the Cricut I would cut these at 2.75 inches and you could glue it directly to the top of the swirly square.
Smaller Heart cut @ w 1.42 x h 2.09...on the Cricut I would cut this at 2 1/4 inches.
Storybook
Swirly Square cut @ w 2.42 x h 2.88...on the Cricut I would cut this at 2.75 inches.
Alphalicious
"Wanted" cut @ h 0.82 ...on the Cricut I would cut this at 3.4 an inch.
"Your Love" cut @ h 0.70 inches...on the Cricut I would cut this at  3/4 inch.
George
Smaller Square cut @ w 2.84 x h 2.61
Larger Square cut @ w 3.05 x h 2.80
On the Cricut I would cut these on my paper trimmer making each a bit larger than the other.

Thanks in Red, Black & White

Designed by Jeannie Phillips - Southside, AL
Click on any picture to enlarge.
I wanted to make a card today...and had no starting place at all!!!... so I decided to use a pick a design that I felt I would probably never use and see what I could come up with... that is how this card evolved... the emblem in the black circle is what I started with... and then I just went from there... I wish that I had embossed the white piece with the Swiss dots folder but thought of that only after it was too late to do it... silly me!! I hope you like my odd little thank you card.
Hugs, Jeannie

Love and Faith

There is a guy in ICU with my dad...I went to high school with Mark and his wife, Kayle...he is so very sick.... very very sick... I made this card for Kayla... their family has been so sweet to our family and us to them.... they are our ICU family.... you really bond with an ICU family fast... they have really helped me and my brother get through this.... I have come to love them all...

Inside the card I wrote.."faith is when you say thank you to God for what has not yet happened...love is when you can't do it and a friend steps in to do it for you... today I said thank you to God for Mark".... I hope that it gave her at least a tiny bit of comfort.
