Fall Infinity Scarf with How to Video for a Loose Cast Off

Handmade Design by
Jeannie Phillips ~ Southside AL

This is an Infinity Scarf or Cowl that I did on my CinDWood round afghan loom... it is knitted in the round.  I didn't know I would like it until I got it off the loom... now I am really excited at how it turned out!  The exciting part is the loose cast off stitch!  I think I invented it.. I have not seen it before and it is wonderful... it ends up the same "size" as the e-wrap cast on so you don't have to do anything extra once you take this off the loom!!!.. But block your work of course. I am including a video at the end of this post.  Please let me know how you like it!!  Hugs Jeannie

This card is a Vicki/Jeannie challenge… Vicki and I use to do these all the time…and they were so much fun!!…I missed them!!…and Vicki, she has been missing in action… I am so hoping this will get her all excited about cards again and she will be around as much as she use to be!! Hint Hint!!! So let her know how much you have missed her!! Here is a link to her blog!!.. Just click HERE!… we decided to use the Turtle from Create A Critter… a turtle was one of the first Vicki/Jeannie challenges we did together so we thought it was a fitting choice!!… thank you so much for looking!! Hugs, Jeannie

CRICUT & GYPSY
Create A Critter
Turtle and its layers cut @ h 1.68 set the height and the width will be right….on the Cricut I would cut this @ 1 3/4 inches.
Snail and its layers cut @ h 1 inch set the height and the width will be right…on the Cricut I would cut this @ 1 inch.
Flowers and its layer cut @ h 2.04 set the height and the width will be right…. Weld one of these to one of the taller grass pieces… On the Cricut I would cut these @ 2 inches… you can just glue this to one of the taller grass pieces.
Doodle Charms
Sun cut @ w 4.84 x 3.93.… On the Cricut I would cut this @ 4 inches.
Easter 2010
Shorter Grass cut @ w 1.98 x h 1.19 ... place two in the mat and weld them together....this is the grass on the very front row.... on the Cricut I would cut 2 or these at 1 1/4 inches...and overlap them on the card to get the length you need.
Taller Grass (2) ...duplicate the shorter grass then unlink the width and height and change the height to
h 1.59.....when I cut two rows of the same grass I flip the second row so they won't just overlap each other...on the Cricut I would cut 4 of these @ 1 1/2 inches and overlap on the card to get the length you need.
