IT'S A GIRL

Tammie a friend of mine at work needed a baby girl card for someone she is close to... I was flattered she ask me to make her one to give... I use my Cricut of course... the rocking horse is form the cart Paper Dolls at 4 inches real dial size and the words "its a girl" are from New Arrival cart at 1.25 inches.. the scallops are from Plantin Schoolbook at .75 inches... the inside horse is cut at 4 inches normal... the corners are from the Jasmine cart at 2 inches real dial size... I was really proud of how this one turned out!

Thanks for looking... I love your comments!!

JUST A NOTE

I am really loving the House Mouse stamps lately....I ordered 4 more today... On this card I used a House Mouse stamp... the roses in the stamps of the stamp matched the rose on the Walk in My Garden Cricut cart perfectly...I cut the rose at 3.5 inches... I cut a blackout shadow in darker pink also..... and the vase at 2.5 inches... the squares that I wrote "just a note" on are a punch from Creative Memories.... I cut out 2 extra of the large ones and cut them corner to corner to make the fancy corners on the frame of the stamp. I have to thank Shelly... I wanted to add the words and couldn't think of a good way.... then I thought "how would Shelly add the words?" and it came to me... I didn't post the inside but it simply matches the outside. I added a close up of the stamp... when I enlarge it it got a little grainy.

Mothers Day Card

I bought me a new stamp at Hobby Lobby this week... when I finished coloring it and started deciding what to do with it I just kept thinking that the mom had the butterfly look over her eggs while she went to get some nourishment and how sweet that was.... so this is what I came up with... the heart is from the George Cricut cart at 4 inches and the words are both from Beyond Birthdays cart.. mom is at 1/2 inch and love is at 1 inch.... I used brown ink on the stamp and I colored the rest with colored pencils and then blended the color with mineral spirits.... I cut out the stamp after coloring it.. then attached it to brown paper and cut out the mat.... I needed it to pop off the page better.

Hang in There

I have had a bad week so I think I made this one for me...

I use the Cricut Cart Zooballoos for the monkey he is cut at 3.25 inches real dial size and colored with colored pencils and gamasol... the crass is Zooballoos cut at 2.5 inches and 2 inches on the layer feature.... the vine is cut at 2.25 inches on real dial size ... and the letters are the lower case option on Zooballoos also cut at 1.5 inches.... I used Rain Dots from my friend Shelly and a butterfly stamp that I got new from Stampin Up just yesterday...the flower is cut out of scrap paper... and the stem and leaf is free hand... the inside matches but is very simple so I did not post it today...

I hope you enjoy... and I absolutely love your comments.

ENJOY THE SUN

This is one of those cards that I look at one minute and love and the next minute I am not so sure about it... I love the House Mouse stamp....and I think I like the design of the card..... I used Stretch Your Imagination cart from Cricut to cut the frame... I used the layer feature at 4 inches for the frame part of the frame and 4.75 inches for the base part of the frame.... I cut JOY at 3 inches with the upright feature from Opposites Attract.... I used odorless mineral spirits and blender stumps on my Prisma colored pencils when I colored the stamped image.... I stamped the image twice... the mouse and 4 of the front pedals are raised up its hard to see in the picture.. much easier to see in person.
The inside of the card matches but its really simple so I didn't post it today.

TOO MUCH WORK TOO LITTLE HEALTH

I have had to work lots of extra hours lately...there has been a happening at work and I will have to work extra for maybe the next couple of weeks...that leaves me no time for my hobby... making cards...which I love so much...

I have also found out that I am going to have to have surgery April 22nd and I am really nervous about that along with not feeling too well... both of these things together have left me exhausted and a bit frustrated. Please keep me in your prayers.

Keep my website on your list too and maybe I will be back to posting on a regular basis before too long.

Thank you lots,
Jeannie
