This is my BBTB2 Design Team card for today!!.. We had to use the cut Ready 2 Rock from Hanna Montana… I didn’t have that cartridge this week so I created the same look with a square from George and letters from Learning Curve…. I wanted to come up with something different… and this is what it was…this card so suits my son, John-Robert… I think I will send it to him later… on the VIDEO for this card I did try and show a little of what I do with my Gypsy….I think of you full screen the video you will be able to see …. Be sure and check out all the other projects the BBTB Design Team created this week...they are great.....  Thank you so much for your support!! And your comments it all just means so much to me… I am so grateful to God for my internet people!!… Hugs, Jeannie

I found this paper ... its paper... so I had a bit of trouble... (remember to buy card-stock Jeannie...remember to buy card-stock!)...but it was so perfect for my son, John-Robert... it just screamed his name... let me tell you a bit about John-Robert... he started RA camp in the summer... a church camp... when he was 8... became a counselor a year before he was suppose to be eligible at 15...and now he is On-Site Director this is his 3rd year...and he is 22... he is so close to God... he has taught me so much about how to be close to God... if I have a God question I ask John-Robert... he has even preached...and I got to hear him...and it blew me away!!.... he loves sharing the fact that God loves us... and for Christmas he gave me a One Year Bible... I have not missed a day reading it...and it has changed my life... made me a much better Christian and a much better person... and I am so excited about the changes!!!... so this card is for John-Robert who walks God's Highway!!!

CRICUT & GYPSY
I am not including Cricut instructions on this card because of the welding...and the stretching of several of the objects.

Graphically Speaking
Arrow cut @ w 5.48 x h 2.53... you will also have to unlink the width and length for this cut... the bottom of the arrow is glued to the background the top is pop-dotted from the background.
Going Places
Highway Sign cut @ w 1.68 x h 1.64... I cut two in black and one in white...the white one I trimmed the center pieces out and adhered to one of the black pieced...the other black piece is popped from the background ...then the one with the white is popped for that.
George
letter I for the sign post cut @ w 0.39 x h 2.10
Learning Curve
"walking" cut @ h 1.0.. set the height and the width will be right... I welded these together....I cut two of these in black card-stock and one in paper and glued them all together to give a chipboard look.
"GOD'S" cut @ I put these on the mat at h 1.0... then I welded the letter together...and then I changed the group of letters to w 1.14 x h 0.96.

Hi Little Girl... The story to this card is a must read!

Designed by Jeannie Phillips ~ Southside, AL
Click on any picture to enlarge.
My dear husband, Robby is a UPS man... yesterday when he was delivering a package to one of his regular stops, a music store... the little girl who's mom owns the store, came running up to Robby... so excited and with a piece of paper in her hand...and with  her little broken 4 year old speech said "I got you something"... and thrusted a crumpled piece of paper in his hand...with Hi written in yellow magic marker... he eyes were so bright and happy...she was so proud!!... and so was he... it was the first thing he showed me when he walked through the door and he asked me to make her a card... well I knew without a doubt it had to have "Hi" on it...she could read that ... after much thought this is the card I came up with... I so hope that she loves it!!...thank you so much for looking... Hugs, Jeannie
CRICUT & GYPSY
Pooh and Friends
Elephant and its layers cut @ h 5.47..if you set this height the widths will be right... I cut it out twice..from one piece...after it was layered... I cut away the head, front arm...and front leg and popped them from the second layer elephant...on the Cricut I would cut this at 5 1/2 inches.
Gypsy Font
Flower (used the shadow) cut @ w1.53 x h 1.26 inches and welded to the stem (from George).... using the Cricut I would choose a different flower...and cut it @ 1 1/4 inches.... this is just a guess for the flower cut from a different cartridge.
Walk in My Garden
Stem cut @ w 1.72 x h 4.78...I welded one of the tulips cuts to this..cut it all out in green so I would have a place to glue the colored tulip to....on the Cricut I would cut this @ 4 3/4 inches.
Christmas Cheer
Tag and its shadow cut @ h 1.84 inches... the width will be right if you set the height...on the Cricut I would cut this @ 1 1/2 inches.
Learning Curve
"Hi" cut @ h 0.89 inches... the width will be right if you set the height...on the Cricut I would cut this @ 3/4 an inch.

Pooh & Friends
Tufts of Grass cut @ w 1.96 x h 0.94 inches... on the Cricut I would cut these @ 1 inch.

Lamb and its layers cut @ w 2.85 x h 3.03... on the Cricut I would cut these at 3 inches.
Lamb Head cut @ w 1.89 x h 1.49.... if I were using the Cricut I would cut an extra lamb and cut the head from the body.
I did lots of popping... I popped the first lamb body in black from the background...then the second lamb with the white body piece adhered to it from the first black lamb piece... then I popped the white embossed lamb body from that...and popped the head from that and double popped the white tuft of hair from that.

The layers of waves for the grass were cut with a wave cutter... and each piece popped from the other with one piece glued inside the frame.

Noel (Shaped Card) for The Gypsy Spot

Designed by Jeannie Phillips - Southside, AL
Click on any picture to enlarge.

Over at The Gypsy Spot this week we were to design a Christmas Card... this was in my head a couple of days and I was really excited when it turned out right "in" paper.... I must admit it did take me some time to get everything in all the layers lined up just right...but the effort was worth it.... I used the page feature on this card to line everything up just right...to get the photos of each page all I had to do was use the "eye" feature on the Gypsy that shows how the page is going to cut...although the inside "looks" really simple... it was a little complicated when I was creating it so I am extra proud of the inside... Be sure and hop on over to The Gypsy Spot and see what the other Design Team members have created this week... I am just so excited!... Thank you so much for looking!... Merry Christmas Everybody!!... Hugs, Jeannie
