The toboggan that I made yesterday was just shy of 8 inches..it came just above my husbands earlobes... this one is 9 inches tall ... it is for my son and he said his ears are getting cold..so this one is made to completely cover his ears and come down to his brows and his neck.... This is a sweater motif and I had to modify it to make the stitches per inch match both vertically and horizontally... it takes a minute to see the stick man... so mostly it looks like a geometrical design... then you see the stick man... I think (hope) that he loves this when he opens it at Christmas... Thank you so much for looking!!! Hugs, Jeannie
