 I was making my 4th crocheted hat...when it came to me just how to make a tam... I knew I was going to have to make me one...and I set to work... this is my first crocheted tam. Then as I was making this one I had all kinds of things come to my mind... So I made the next one down.... then when I woke up in the middle of the night after finishing the second one... the one with the fun bobbles...I knew just how I wanted to make a matching scarf...so after my nap today I set to work.

The greatest thing is last week during my prayers I told God... I said "God I so want to make amazing thing... I want to make things that go WOW!" God cares about the desires of our hearts... we just have to ask.  God wants to give us so much... we just have to do the asking... I am learning to ask for the big, for the amazing... because nothing is impossible with God!!

I was so excited at how this turned out... I love the design from the back!!.... I love making these hats the most... oh silly me, I just love knitting anything on my Knifty Knitters!!... For Christmas I am getting a set of fine gauge hat looms...there are 5 in the pack and are made to use one strand of yarn on.. with the knit stitch... I can't wait to get them!!... This is for my son John-Robert... he plans on shaving his dreads this month... so he won't need it long... but I had to make him one that was successful for his long hair... his orange and blue one was not full enough...so I prayed to know how to make more stitches on my loom....and one day the answer was just there in my head... God is so good... then I made the first one with the extra stitches too short...this one should be just right... I hope that he loves it! ...I love my Knifty Knitters they are the best thing ever!!...... Thank you so much for looking!

I had an order for this hat... I am so excited that I taught myself how to add stitches to a loom so that I could make these!!... this one was really fun... I used the new round purple loom and I am loving the size of it!!... I like the tighter stitches but it does make you have to add a few extra rows... so be sure and measure compared to the other hats that you have done.  Thank you so much for looking!  Hugs, Jeannie

Slouchy Brown Tam made w/ my Knifty Knitters

I am so so so excited about this!!... I am afraid I didn't make it long enough for my son's dreads... but I figured out how to add extra stitches... the "bag" part of this tam is bigger than the loom... every other peg has two stitches.. it was a little tricky... but I did it... I REALLY DID IT... and I figured it all out on my own!! I am just so proud...  mind you that I prayed before I started that I would be able to do this... God is so good!
