I am so so excited about this shawl..... I loom knitted the center of the scarf... my FB friend Diane told me how...then I added the crochet border... this is my own design.... I was just beyond excited at how it turned out.  Can't wait to try some different borders!!

I made this last week..thought I posted it.... I have know how to crochet granny squares for a while.... but nothing else.... I have been wanting to lean how to crochet so I can do some lacy type things.... I saw a shawl simular to this one on Etsy and though....hummm think I can make that... this is what I ended up with.  I started with some leftover yarn...then had to buy more...now I have leftover again...lol.  Thank you so much for looking!!..Hugs, Jeannie

This is a prayer shawl that I made for my dear friend, Lisa.. she touches my life all the time... and is special to my heart. I wanted to show her how much I appreciate her.  I tried a prayer shawl pattern.. it was really pretty but not as soft and as airy as I wanted... So I created this pattern on my own.. I used the DaLooms Prayer Shawl Loom... using every other pet to creat the more open, larger stitches.  Thank you so much for looking!!  Hugs, Jeannie

This is my first prayer shawl... I was in Hobby Lobby last week and picked up a knitting book...all I read was yarn over twice in this list of directions... a light bulb went off in my head... "yarn over twice...I could turn that into a prayer shawl"... bought some yarn and came home and went to work.. now off to Hobby Lobby  later today or in the morning to see if the yarn is in I need for a couple of promised projects. ..
