Our Legacy

Designed by Jeannie Phillips ~ Southside, AL
Click on any picture to enlarge.
I was so inspired by CardianAngel's "wiper" card on the Cricut MB... (click here to see it)... that I just had to make one!! ... I love how the little part at the top just pops up...and its so easy!!... I had gotten this beautiful paper, perfect for the Heritage cartridge, from a wonderful friend of mine, Linda one of my Card Class Ladies, as a gift.... so using CardianAngel's inspiration, Linda's gift and the Heritage cartridge this is what I came up with... I hope that you like it!...thank you so much for looking!!..Hugs,  Jeannie

Heritage
Tree's cut @ w 3.52 x h 3.36...on the Cricut I would cut these @ 3 1/2 inches.
"Love" cut @ w 1.11 x h 0.98... you will have to unlink these to get the width and height on this cut....on the Cricut I would try cutting this at 1/2 inches first... you may even be able to cut it at 3/4 and inch...but I am not sure...you don't need the width to be too wide.
"Legacy" cut @ w 2.46 x h 0.55...on the Cricut I would cut this at 1/2 an inch.
Decorative Swirls cut @ w 3.14 x h 0.50... these are rotated on the mat...on the Cricut I would cut these at 1/2 an inch.
Opposites Attract
"our" cut @ h 0.64 inches... the width will be right on all the letter if you set the height...group and weld the letters together...then set the width @ 2.10 inches.... on the Cricut I would cut these letters @ 1/2 inch...and then I would trim the tails of the letters to make the word short enough to fit over the "legacy."

Large Square cut @ w 8.0  x h 6.50 on real dial size and unlinked ...on the Cricut I would use a paper trimmer to cut this.
Small Square cut @ w 5.62  x h 3.50 on real dial size and unlinked ... on the Cricut I would cut this with an Exacto knife.
I cut these the sizes of the frame...one the size of the outside of the frame... the second one the size of the inside of the frame...don't weld so you will have a hole in the frame.
Doodle Charms
Sun cut @ w 4.22 x h 3.42... I cut two of these... on the Cricut I would cut this at 3 1/2 inches.
Pooh & Friends
Tufts of Grass cut @ w 1.96 x h 0.94 inches... on the Cricut I would cut these @ 1 inch.
Learning Curve
"ewe" cut @ h 2.69.. then I grouped them together...and made the total width of 4.49....on the Cricut I would cut these @ 2 1.2 inches.
Opposites Attract
"love" and its shadow cut @ w 4.49 x h 2.68....I welded the shadow to the "ewe"... on the Cricut I would cut this @ 2 1/2 inches...and glue the "love" shadow over the "ewe."
Animal Kingdom
Lamb and its layers cut @ w 2.85 x h 3.03... on the Cricut I would cut these at 3 inches.
Lamb Head cut @ w 1.89 x h 1.49.... if I were using the Cricut I would cut an extra lamb and cut the head from the body.
I did lots of popping... I popped the first lamb body in black from the background...then the second lamb with the white body piece adhered to it from the first black lamb piece... then I popped the white embossed lamb body from that...and popped the head from that and double popped the white tuft of hair from that.

The layers of waves for the grass were cut with a wave cutter... and each piece popped from the other with one piece glued inside the frame.

I decided to do them all different!!... that is much more fun for me .... and maybe they will enjoy seeing each others cards... I love this House Mouse stamp so I decided to go with it and see if I could make it incorporate it into a card and it not be the whole card.... sometimes that is hard for me!!...
