Lacy Scarf

Handmade by Jeannie Phillips ~ Southside, AL
I love my Knifty Knitters / Knitting Looms

This is a scarf pattern I made before, it is out of the book I taught myself to LOOM KNIT.  Robby bought this book for me at Wal Mart... it has a DVD but that is very dissapointing!!... I have made this scarf before in a thicker thread... Yesterday I was at Hobby Lobby and decided that I was going to have to venture out into new yarns...I ran across this Patons Lace yarn...very fine yarn... it is a #2 on the liggle yarn shaped symbol...I used two threads...I did think that the thread would change faster than it did....this was knitted on a flat pannel on my largest round loom...the pattern is the Lovely Lacy Scarf on page 18 of the book... I love how it turned out!!  Thank you so much for looking!!... This one is going in my Etsy Shop!  Hugs, Jeannie

Toboggan... Earth Tones

Handmade Design by Jeannie Phillips ~ Southside, AL

I love loom knitting... I love my Knifty Knitters!!!!!... I have made John-Robert another toboggan... he is loosing all his hair this weekend... a shaved head... I am so worried his head is going to be cold!!.... He has lots of hair it is going to be really different for him!....I hope to get him three boggans made!! But I have so much to do... and I am sick too!

This hat is really simple... I did it on the purple round loom...I knitted for the first rows with one thread so that the rim of the hat would roll up...then I purled the rest of the hat, in two colors...I have started decreasing back to one strand of yarn for the last about 5 rows so that when I draw the hat up it is much less bulky... on this hat I did a yarn over on every other peg for the last row... I knitted the bottom yarn over the top yarn... so that when I gathered the top it would be even less bulky... I love the little design it made in the middle.

Thanks for looking... Hugs, Jeannie

Still working on my Etsy shop... I am going to treat this like a job and get my shop filled up... I am getting faster!!..that is a good thing...I am much faster with the knit stitch... but not the e-wrap or the purl stitch! Did I say...I love my Knifty Knitters!!

Infant/Toddler Jester Hat

Handmade Design by Jeannie Phillips
I am working to fill up my Etsy shop... I am excited!!... I love making the baby hats they are just too sweet!!.. this one is knitted tight and with a cotton/acrylic yarn of like 3 .5 oz... so it took more rows around the loom... but I have learned to get out my ruler and measure how many stitches are making an inch and then multiply to get the length I want!!...I didn't use a pattern on this... just worked it out on my own! I love learning things from peoples patterns... but then I like to apply it to something that is mine.....I am learning so so much!... Thank you for looking! .. Oh did I say "I love my Knifty Knitters!"   Hugs, Jeannie

My Weekend Sock (yes just one)

Handmade by Jeannie Phillips
Instructions from Loom Knitting Primer by Isela Phelps
Heals were my biggest fear!!... A sock is something that I didn't think that I could do on my Knifty Knitters... something I didn't think I could do at all!!... so I had to try one of these.... I do better when I can figure out something on my own...but on this I read the instructions!!.. amazing!!!...I am such a visual learner... but I had enough knowledge to make these instructions understandable for me!!.... I made the heal and the toe... but it was so hard to measure the length and I made this about an inch too short for my foot... I did enough to know that I now want a sock loom!!... I am about to need a loom room!!  Hugs, Jeannie

Bright Toboggan and Scarf to Match

Handmade Design by Jeannie Phillips ~ Southside, AL
A dear, dear friend of mine lost her house 9 days ago!!.... Just broke my heart...when I ask what I could do for her she ask for a scarf and hat for when she rides her horses... she wanted the bright.... this is what I made for her... so excited about how I made the stitches match... I did 2 rows of knit and 2 rows of purl on the scarf for 12 pegs until it was 5 1/2 feet long... I did it on my largest round loom... The toboggan was done on my  Knifty Knitter round loom...I did 2 purl 2 knits and repeated until the end of the round for 10 rows with one strand of yarn..then I added a second strand of yarn and changed my pattern to 2 knits 2 purls, so that when you folded the brim up that the stitches would match...since the brim folds up on the hat instead of upon itself I had to do more rows on the hat... I did a total of 37 rows past the brim...the last 5 rows I did with one stitch so that when I gathered the hat it it would be less bulky.
Thanks so much for looking!

Brown Tam with Stripes

Handmade Design by Jeannie Phillips ~ Southside, AL
This is for my son John-Robert... he plans on shaving his dreads this month... so he won't need it long... but I had to make him one that was successful for his long hair... his orange and blue one was not full enough...so I prayed to know how to make more stitches on my loom....and one day the answer was just there in my head... God is so good... then I made the first one with the extra stitches too short...this one should be just right... I hope that he loves it! ...I love my Knifty Knitters they are the best thing ever!!...... Thank you so much for looking!

Right now with the new update I am not sure how to share my card files... you get two options ... one is not save to your computer... when I figure it out I wll be glad to start sharing again!.

CRICUT & GYPSY
New Arrival
Baby cut @ w q.95 x h 2.39 ... on the Cricut I would cut these @ 2 1/2 inches.
Pooh and Friends
Hat (toboggan) cut @ w1.37 x h 1.65.. on the Cricut I would cut these @ 1.75.
Stamping
Oh Baby cut @ w 2.80 x h 1.37 ... on the Cricut I would cut this @ 1 1/4 inches.
Mini Monograms
Scalloped circles cut @ w 3.06 x h 3.39 & w 3.59 x h3.98... on the Cricut I would cut these @ 3 1/2 and 4 inches.
George
Circle cut @ w 2.63 x h 2.46 on the Cricut I think I would cut this @ 2 1/2 inches... that may be too big.. if it is I would leave the circle off... because the 2 1/4 inch circle is probably going to be too small.
