I was so in the mood to make a card today...but I needed a nap so I wasn't sure I would get one made... I woke up from my nap and my Cottage Cutz die cuts the Chicks and the Tropical Bird 2 were laying by my computer... and into my head this cards popped!!...good thing I had leftovers and DH was working late!!... Haunted House cut @ 5 inches.

Cut the house out twice in black and sandwiched the yellow in-between so the window that shows from the back of the card would look right.

Tree cut @ 5 inches.

Flowers cut 2 3 1/4 inches for the outside and 1 1/4 inches for the inside.

The outside flower I cut twice popped the bottom one from the background paper and the top one I popped from the bottom flower.

Circles for flowers cut at 1 3/4 inch and 3/4 inch.

This is my Cuttlebug Spot Design Team card for this week.... it was one of those that took me a while... but when I got it in my head I was just too too excited to get started... I must thank Robin aka RCZ28 for getting me started on my idea... she did a beautiful card with this most adorable stamp (click HERE to see it!)... and she did a wonderful job on it... when I saw it I knew I would have to use that phrase on it in some form or fashion someday... its adorable!!... so her card was in my head when I started thinking of what I was going to do for my "Celebrating Education" card for this week... be sure and check out the other Design Team members cards they are great!... just click HERE to see them!

My Community

Open book cut @ 4 1/4 inches.

I cut the cover in red and the 2 sets of pages in off white...I glued the pages down in the middle..pop-dotted the edges of the last set of pages from the book cover. I then glued the center of the pages, on the top layer, down in the middle.. put a pencil under the page and pop- dotted the edge of the page from the first set of pages to create the hump in the center that adds the real look of an open book.

This is another Vickie/Jeannie challenge card.... we decided to make a Christmas Card...she needs several so it was a good card to do..... we agreed on the Christmas Tree from Stretch Your Imagination ..... so at work today my mind was blank so I said my "Thank You God" prayer for a card and before long this one was floating in my head and wouldn't go away!! ... Doggie in the Window...Sympathy Card

This card is a labor of love!... Craig a wonderfully sweet young man at work lost his Grandmother this week .... and his parents are so special too you can tell by how he talks about them... I wanted this card to be a special memory of Craig's grandmother... we had talked often during her stay at the hospital about how much she loved her puppy dog... Craig so understands how much I love my dog, Shaggy and had compared it to how much his grandmother loved her sweet puppy... and then when I was leaving work I asked Craig what would remind his dad of his grandmother..he said she loved her yard... her flowers... so this is what I came up with.... I so hope that it touches Craig and his family in a sweet memory way! thank you for looking... Hugs Jeannie

Puppy cut @ 1 1/4 inches twice I cut the head from of the second cut so that I could pop it from the body and give it dimension... her puppy was a white and tan Jack Russell

I used only the window from this die.

I cut 3/4 inch strip to make the boards on the house...I cut these out of paper that looked like crackle paper... perfect for the look I wanted.

This is a Cottage Cutz card I made for The Cuttlebug Spot... Cup of Java/Hearts
I cut this out 3 times in green...
I popped dotted between each layer the back layer is also popped off the page... the front layer I cut the handle off the cup and the top coffee part off the cup to give the cup a better 3D effect.
I cut the die cut once in dark brown and once in light brown for the "coffee"... for this I used small scraps and placed only over the coffee cut.
Once in off white for the swirls and the hearts again I used small scraps for this and only cut the parts I needed.
I had green extra green swirls and hearts from cutting my coffee cups I used these extra pieces to embellish the inside of the card.
Lots and lot of brown ink and also Olive ink.

This sweet sweet girl that I work for, Ginger was the director of Madison's wedding.... she was wonderful!!.. I/we could not have done it without her.... she was just there every time I needed her on Saturday... she thinks she didn't do much.... but she was our anchor... I wanted to make her a special special card.... I cut a square hole in the yellow background paper and popped that from the blue frame paper.
