Oh Baby Card and Hats

Designed by Jeannie Phillips
I was in invited to a baby shower for a girl at my chruch... I was thinking oh what to buy... silly me I have been making caps like crazy.... so I decided this would be a fun gift!... I made the Christmas one for a photo prop.... I thought that would be so much fun with a December baby!!... I hope that she love the caps and the card.

Right now with the new update I am not sure how to share my card files... you get two options ... one is not save to your computer... when I figure it out I wll be glad to start sharing again!.

CRICUT & GYPSY
New Arrival
Baby cut @ w q.95 x h 2.39 ... on the Cricut I would cut these @ 2 1/2 inches.
Pooh and Friends
Hat (toboggan) cut @ w1.37 x h 1.65.. on the Cricut I would cut these @ 1.75.
Stamping
Oh Baby cut @ w 2.80 x h 1.37 ... on the Cricut I would cut this @ 1 1/4 inches.
Mini Monograms
Scalloped circles cut @ w 3.06 x h 3.39 & w 3.59 x h3.98... on the Cricut I would cut these @ 3 1/2 and 4 inches.
George
Circle cut @ w 2.63 x h 2.46 on the Cricut I think I would cut this @ 2 1/2 inches... that may be too big.. if it is I would leave the circle off... because the 2 1/4 inch circle is probably going to be too small.
Butterflies are a Martha Stewart Punch.

Alabama football is huge in Alabama..... my Daughter Madison graduated from Alabama... my son is at its rival Auburn... anyway its huge and the elephant is the school mascot.... and the cheer is Roll Tide... every time I see this elephant on New Arrival I want to make an Alabama baby card... every time... its a perfect baby card to give to a man that just had a baby... that is if he is an Alabama fan... now I need to figure out how to make a cut Auburn Baby, baby card... hope you like...thanks so much for looking! Hugs, Jeannie
CRICUT & GYPSY
New Arrival
Elephant's cut @ w 3.60 x h 2.98 - on the Cricut I would cut this @ 3 inches.
You can set the height at 2.98 in all 3 parts of the elephant and the height will be right.
Baby Rattles cut @ w 0.66 x h 1.22 -on the Cricut I would cut this @ 1.25
I cut 3 of these...cut the handle off of one and popped the rattle part on the complete rattle which I adhered directly to the card... on rattle I cut in black and trimmed down to the center of the rattle to make the black trim on the rattle.
Accent Essentials
Scalloped edges cut @ w 5. 0 x h 0.53 on read dial size - on the Cricut I would cut this @ 1 inch.. but am not sure at all what the length would be.
These I welded to the George Square.
George
Square cut @ w 5.0 x h 3.25 on real dial size - if using the Cricut I would cut this with my paper trimmer.
Opposites Attract
"Baby" cut @ h 1.39 the width will be right on all the letters if you set just the height -on the Cricut I would cut these @ 1 1/2 inches.
I welded these letter together.
Street Signs
"BAMA" cut @ h 1.43 the width will be right on all the letters if you set the height - on the Cricut I would cut these letters at 1 1/2 inches.
I welded these letter together. These are the cuts on my mat I moved the rattle by the Bama's down next to Baby because I decided to cut this cut in black... all images in red are welded.

Oh Baby

I have been wanting to play!!!...play!!!... with my Gypsy.... I am obsessed!!!... the scalloped edge wouldn't weld once flipped so I welded it to my George rectangle then rotated it and it worked! ... So I am learning....I am really proud of this one... because of the welding...and the wholes in the scalloped edge.... I hope that you like it too!!!... Hugs, Jeannie

Stamping
"Oh Baby" cut @ w 5.0 x 2.41.
"Oh Baby" Shadow cut @ h 4.91 x h 2.41.
You do not have to figure out the difference in sizes that works... just pick both the cuts together and they will be the right size to fit together and grouped... so once you get it the size you want it you can now ungroup them and fit them on the page where you want them to be.
Baby Buggy cut @ w 1.44 x h 1.63.
Baby Buggy Shadow cut @ 2 1.53 x 1.63.
Same applies as above to get the shadow.
Swirl cut @ w 5.0 x h 1.21.
George
Rectangle cut @ w 2.75 x h 5.0.
I then rotated it on the page how I wanted it.
Circles inside the scalloped cut cut @ w 0.40 x h 0.37.
Plantin Schoolbook
Scallop cut @ w 5.02 x h 0.89
I welded the scallop to the rectangle...but did not weld the circles to the scallop.
The circles are easy to put in the scallop when you zoom in! This is a picture of how the mat looked when I cut out my pieces..the items in red are welded together.
This is a picture of my saved screen with my notes... once I got it like I wanted it I saved it under Save As......the words in the top right hand side are the carts I used...the bottom is how I wanted the card to look with all its pieces..the extra pieces are for the inside or pieces that other items were pop-dotted from... ex. the baby buggy shadow... I wanted to pop the baby buggy twice..so I popped the shadow from the background and then the green buggy attached to the pink shadow cuts and popped it from the the pink shadow buggy that was already popped from the background page...when I got ready to cut I spread all the cuts on the mat after I had saved the file... then cut... when prompted to save changes put NO and you will save this screen.

Hint: If you save you cut file under the same name as you give your card on your blog it will be much easier to find.... I have gone back and changed the name once I have posted to keep my cards and my files with the same name.
