This is my this weeks Cuttlebug Spot Design Team card and my other card for my dear friend Lisa... she needed a card for another friend at work who loves Crosses... and this worked wonderfully well with my assignment for the week... We had to ink an embossing folder... so I used dark pink in on light pink paper and the Victoria embossing folder... I am really pleased with how it turned out... its a really simple card... since it was so busy it needed to be simple I felt... I hope the Cuttlebug Spot visitors and Lisa are happy with this card! ... be sure and check out The Cuttlebug Spot this week and see what the other Design Team members have come up with!... have a wonderful week! ~~Hugs, Jeannie

A Christmas Tweet

Designed by Jeannie Phillips - Southside, AL
Click on any picture to enlarge.

It's The Cuttlebugspot time again!! This weeks theme was Tweet Tweet we had to use a bird... any bird ... I pondered this for a while and was inspired by Tomiannie on the Cricut MB ... she does beautiful work!... you need to see her card "Congratulations Lovebirds" ... when she used these birds I knew that I was going to use them on my CB card... I had forgotten about her half circle but it must have been in my head ... this card is totally inspired by her beautiful work and heart ... also I was telling my dear husband that I needed to think of a sentiment using this cut (as I pointed to the birds) he said without skipping a beat "A Christmas Tweet" ... Thank you Robby and Tomiannie! ... I can't wait to see what the other Design Team members came up with... be sure that you have a look-see too by clicking HERE! ... Happy Monday and Hugs to Everyone! This is my Cuttlebug Spot Design Team card for this week.... it was one of those that took me a while... but when I got it in my head I was just too too excited to get started... I must thank Robin aka RCZ28 for getting me started on my idea... she did a beautiful card with this most adorable stamp (click HERE to see it!)... and she did a wonderful job on it... when I saw it I knew I would have to use that phrase on it in some form or fashion someday... its adorable!!... so her card was in my head when I started thinking of what I was going to do for my "Celebrating Education" card for this week... be sure and check out the other Design Team members cards they are great!... just click HERE to see them!

Hot Summer

Designed by: Jeannie Phillips - Southside, AL
Click on any picture to enlarge.
It's "The Cuttlebug Spot" time again!!.... I get so excited when I finish one of these challenges for the Design Team.... but I must admit some of them are a real challenge and this was one of those... our only guideline other than using the Cuttlebug was to "use the word HOT"... the word Hot???... the word HOT???.... I kept seeing the word HOT a sombrero and a pepper... well I just knew that is the first thing anyone would think so I didn't want to go with that.... but then what left.... nothing in my little brain I can tell you that... usually I get these done early... but this one I made late Saturday night..... and I was pleased when finished it!!... but PEOPLE it turns out that you can make lots of things with the word hot!!..lots.... just check out The Cuttlebug Spot this week and see.... those ladies on the Design Team rocked!....
