Original Design by Jeannie Phillips ~ Southside, AL
I am so so excited about this scaf/hat... I made a scarf I didn't like... so when this turned out so pretty I was so excited...My daughter, Madison has an bright orange really warm coat... this is to go with that coat... I got her on the phone to see her reactions when she saw the picture... she loves it!!.. It is an original design.. no pattern...and I did some really fun stitches... there are close ups of some of those in pictures below.... it is just over 5 feet long including the pom poms... I knitted it on the larger round loom... I did knit, pearl stitches for the brim... the thicker yarn made it a little looser than I wanted it to be... keep that in mind... I do have the new purple loom ordered... I am so excited about the size and the fact that the pegs are closer... The closer pegs will make the stitches show up better.... Thank you so much for looking! Hugs, Jeannie

That looks awesome! I can only imagine what Madison's reaction was. Did you know that you enabled Mary to pick up some too =)

Wow, that scat looks like it took
a lot time to make. I love all the
colors in it, very pretty! I'm
sure Madison will be thrilled to wear that in TN when it gets cold.

Love it!! So much FUN!! Gotta know...in the 3rd pic down, the green section with "squares" how did you do it? Can see it is knit and pearl but how did you do it? Want to try this, my mother in law was here over the weekend and is knitting a blanket just like this but with needles and I can't wrap my mind around how to do it on the kk's?? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :) Oh, and if you are feeling super generous LOVE the 2nd pic with orange raised section any how to an that one as well?? lol Thanks for the continued inspiration! :)
