My Try at Duplicate Stitch

Handmade Design by Jeannie Phillips

It needs work....I think I needed to use two threads when doing the duplicate stitch....but it's done now... My nephew, Trey's hat was too small... so I had to make him another one...I asked what he wanted...he said a black and white hat with a Red A... so this is the best I could do... for my first try... I hope that he is happy .. he is 8...and this is what he wanted... so I think that he will be happy!... it was a learning experience for sure.
Thanks for looking ... Hugs, Jeannie

OH Jeannie,
You did a really great job on this. hahaha when I saw the checkered pattern I thought of a chessboard...wouldn't it be cool if the Red A was imposed on a King.
Hahaha my boyfriend has tried many times to teach me chess...even bought a board where the pieces were little ceramic sheep (the king has a crown on it's head). Ya know cute chessboard would keep me interested but I can't remember how all the pieces move...so then he gets tired of playing with me =)
Ahhh well. Great job and cool colors =)
Many hugs!

Jeannie, you did it again! This is so beautiful! I think you need to do some Youtube videos starting with this one! I am in awe!! I can't, for the life of me, figure out how you did this one. You make them look so easy too.

Please keep inspiring us!

HUGS! Jodie
