You Are My One North Star

Except for my "Letter from Heaven" card that I made for my dear husband, Robby this is the first card that I felt "wow" about when I finished... I hope this means I am back in the grove of things so to speak... I prayed for this card as I do many.... part of it was in my head Wednesday afternoon but I didn't have paper I thought would work...today I went to Hobby Lobby and there it was the PERFECT background paper for my idea... oh I hope everyone likes this one..~~Jeannie

Stampin Up Ink (brown) for the ageing.

Gold Leaf in a tube bought at Hobby Lobby for ageing.

I used the gold leaf on the edges, corners, centers of the butterflies and the compass stamp.

Love Is Dino-mite

I have had this Basicgrey background paper for a while and thought it was so cute..... Finally I thought of something to do with it..... I was happy with the card down to adding the the thought bubble around the heart.... wish I hadn't done that..... hopefully it still turned out cute... ~~Jeannie

Door Hanger

I made this door hanger for my daughter Madison who left for Alabama last week to get her Masters in Accounting.... her room mate wakes her up from her naps...and Madison loves ..and needs her naps... So I thought this would help...the paper matches her new bedspread....She will get a kick out of opening this..~~Jeannie

Z's cut at 1 and 1 1/4 inches.

The door-hanger was hand cut... I used a 1 1/2 inch circle punch for the center and cut the slat with sissors ... its mounted on a piece of chipboard and the back side is covered but not decorated.... words are computer generated and the levers were a part of the paper pack.

For My Son @ Auburn...(he just went a week ago)

My son, John-Robert went to Auburn last week...he is a Junior but its his first year at Auburn... He is loving it... they have a Tiger Transit system...he loves it because he doesn't have to spend hardly any gas money.... I miss him so much... I know its simple but its a guy card... ~~Jeannie

A Letter From Heaven

This is for my dear husband, Robby...I know that he misses his mom... this card came to me at 2:30 in the morning....I couldn't go back to sleep for thinking of it...finally got up at 4 am to make it.... Hello All... I made this card in the middle of Papo's death and Cleo's (MIL) death and am just getting to post it...by now I have forgotten what all I did...the lamb is a Cricut cut...but what cart I have no idea...the corners are from Jasmine of course cut at 2 1/4 inches on real dials size and shadow I am almost sure...stamped with a Hobby Lobby stamp... the sentiment is computer generated...lots of SU ink...and that great MS punch....

Please continue to say prayers for our family there is so much still to do and we, especially my dear husband need your prayers... My kids both left for college today too... say prayers to keep them safe and me sane....

Thank you for the prayers your have already prayed on our behalf two deaths just a week apart is just almost too much to bare.

The Accounting Firm, Edgar and Associates where my daughter was working this summer, was so wonderful when her Great-grandfather died last week... They brought her card to her later in the day after her boyfriend brought her home....they sent a plant before we ever got home and had the sad task of letting Madison know her grandfather had died... It's A Girl ..Shaker Card

Tammi a friend of mine at work has a friend who just had a baby girl and she needed a card...I love making cards for Tammi to give away...its like a double gift...and Tammi is such a sweetheart.... I love her so much.... I hope that she likes it....its my first shaker card... ~~Jeannie

"Its a Girl" card 2 cut @ 4 inches.

Foundation Card cut @ 4 inches.
On both of these I trimmed the other side of the card off..this is what made my shaker.

Bear cut @ 3 1/4 inches.

I also cut some chip board to mount the bear on... I used the multi cut x 4 feature on this.

I trimmed off the bottom part of the bear.

I also inked around the edges using a make-up spounge and Stampin Up ink.

Glitter and and butterfly & dragonfly charms added to shaker.
