Tree Frog

I needed to make my dear husband, Robby a Father's Day card... he loves tree frogs...and with Okie's Sketch Challenge 1 this week... this is want ended up in my head... one of my family members didn't get it at all... one of my family members did... the center square is suppose to be a close up of a Tree Frog on the tree... Grass cut @ 1/4 inches on real dial size.

Lots of brown ink.. a few pop-dots.

My daughter, Madison needed a thank you card.... I saw a floating element in a magazine recently... and then one by Raquel Panos on the Cricut Message Boards so I had to try one ... I did mine a little different than either of those but I had fun doing it... the pictures don't show it as good as you see it in person.... you can click on Raquel name to see her card... thank you Raquel...

Quadrafold (square) Frame cut @ 2 1/2 inches on solid for the transparency cuts and on frame for the frame cuts...I cut two of each.

M cut @ 1 1/2 inch.

Thank You cut @ 1 inch and altered.

Lots of inking.

I put the frames on the transparency and pop dotted the frame with the M in the middle from the back of the card...then I pop dotted the frame without the M on top of that.... I have got some more ideas for this technique floating around in my head.

Shadows of a Summer Night

Every cut I looked at today all I could see were the shadows.... the silhouettes cut in black.... so I had to go with that...and this is what I came up with... I believe that I like it....I can see walking on a summer night with the bight, bright moon and catching this picture in a garden.... be sure and let me know what you think!!... thanks for looking...~~Hugs Jeannie

Visiting Susans

I finally got my new toy....that is a long story so I won't go into it....but I have been wanting to try it all weekend...finally I got inspired...during the Country Music Awards no doubt.....lol...... So I cut out my butterfly and came back upstairs to watch the CMA's and got busy with the butterfly.... I used artist chalk to color the butterfly after finding a picture of a real one on the computer.... well anyway the rest of the card evolved from there...
