Vicki and I are still having so much fun picking out the same cut and seeing what each of us come up with... they are always so different.... so this has been amazing fun... Kat on the Cricut Message Boards ask us to do a baby card.... we said ok lets do that!!!....lets do a baby card... Vicki picked out the giraffe or the elephant... I looked at both and an idea popped into my Alabama head as soon as I saw the elephant...so we went with him... hope that you like my take!... I cherish your comments!!..thanks for looking!

Baby cut @ 2 inches... 3x's with shift for just the blanket...all in red... 1x on shadow blackout for the baby and the blanket in off white... one of the red blanket layers is directly attached to the baby and blanket layer... the back layer is just a red blanket attached to the background paper...then the baby w/ blanket pop-dotted from that...then the top blanket popped for that... using 1/8 inch pop dots again... Baby's face is a Peachy Keene stamp.

Raggedy Ann

I was so excited about this little card.... beyond excited.... once I thought of it I couldn't think of anything else!!.... it all came about because of those adorable Magnolia stamps!!... I kept thinking....how can I make a paper doll from Paper Doll Dress Up sitting down.... how, how, how!!... it just wouldn't leave my head and when I started I wasn't sure at all that I could do it.... but it all turned out pretty good and I am so excited...I hope that you like it!! ~~ Jeannie
CRICUT
Paper Doll Dress Up
Doll and all her parts cut @ 2 3/4 inches...
I was thinking I cut it at 3 3/4 inches.... but got confused later...so if 2 3/4 doesn't work for you its the larger size after all.
Wagon cut @ 4 1/2 inches... 2 times once in red once in black.
Zoobaloos
Grass cut @ 1 1/4 inches on real dial size 2 times.
MARTHA STEWART
Butterfly Punch
PEACHY KEEN FACE STAMP
When I cut the legs out I trimmed off the shoe part and rounded each end...to look like the top of the knee... I took the black circles from the center of the wagon and trimmed off the top to make a sort of oval for the shoes.... to make them look like you were looking at them from the front ... cut these twice so that I could pop dot the top layer.....I cut the arms from the body so that I could position them the way that I wanted them.... and of course I cut the legs from the body.... I set the dress at the top of the wagon then added the legs to create the sitting effect!!
I kept thinking...these carts are all about paper piecing.... and I need to utilize that fact to the fullest of my ability... it would give me so many more options... it just got me all excited!

Alabama/Auburn Valentines Cards

These seem simple I know...but they weren't maybe because they were so outside my box... I am terrible at shape cards for some reason... but in the end I was happy... as most of you know my kids are at opposing colleges...Madison at Alabama and John-Robert at Auburn so I am sure you can guess which card goes to who... I couldn't resist adding a little bit of humor to John-Roberts card (he is the class clown in the family)... so I added some bling to the tiger... see if you can find it....I wanted the cards to be a reminder of Elementary School Valentine's Days.... I hope that they are... Thanks for looking and I love your comments ~~Jeannie
