Click on any picture to enlarge.
This is another Vicki/Jeannie personal challenge card.... we wanted to use Pooh because August is Pooh Friendship Month ...something like that.... so we decided to each use a Pooh cut... any Pooh cut .... at first I was so at a loss.... just blank... the licensed carts do that to me somehow... I have trouble making the cuts "my own".... then I thought of this card...and found the little girls with the bears in their hands!!!.. how perfect was that... I asked my son to find me a Pooh quote on friendship... he said this one was his favorite so I had to use it!!!... and I agreed it was a wonderful quote.... I can't wait to see Vicki's card!!!....about to go and link it!!!... to see Vicki's card just click here! ... these challenges really make me think outside my little box... thank you Vicki!! Recipe Page

Forever ago I started Madison an 8x8 recipe book sometime I received my first Cricut... made her and I about 10 pages then lost interest....today she sent me an e-mail with 2 recipes and a list of things I cook that she wants in that book.... so I told her that I would do her one a week... one down no telling how many to go.... one day her kids will cook out of it... how cool is that!
Madison has to send me the recipe so that I don't have to type it out...that is what stopped me before that part was so boring...so now all I have to do is copy and paste the recipe and ingredients... the only Cricut I used was Animal Kingdom and I cut the chicken @ 2 inches.

Designed by Jeannie Phillips - Southside, AL

As many of you already know my daughter Madison just got married and her and Cory have their first "grown-up" apartment in Memphis, TN... her dinning room has a black table and she has red and black dishes...and she loves glitter.... she called the other day with that excitement in her voice...she said "Guess what comes to our apartment?!?!?!... The Ice Cream Truck!!!" she sounded so like a little girl in her grown up world... I loved it.... we all need to remember how to feel like a kid!!!.... its so important to our mental health!!! .... So I just had to make her this card... and then I got A Child's Year and wow it had kids with ice-cream!!!... so this is what I ended up with!!!...I am so excited its part grown-up part kid at heart!!... I hope she loves it!.... thanks so much for looking.... Hugs, Jeannie

Cupcake Card

I needed to may my The Cuttlebug Spot Design Team card for this week and I needed to make my Brother-in-Law a birthday card...so I combined the "challenge" for both... My BIL is not into your typical things so I had no idea how to make it personal....so I went with the cupcake from Home Decor and used my new Celtic Knots Cuttlebug folder...I thought it turned out pretty good until my dear BIL got it and turned it in all directions...look confused... never even knew that I made it...and still doesn't know its a cupcake.... can we say store bought on the 99 cent rack next year!!! Hope you like it some... hugs, Jeannie

Doggie in the Window...Sympathy Card

Designed by Jeannie Phillips Southside, AL
Click on any picture to enlarge.
This card is a labor of love!... Craig a wonderfully sweet young man at work lost his Grandmother this week .... and his parents are so special too you can tell by how he talks about them... I wanted this card to be a special memory of Craig's grandmother... we had talked often during her stay at the hospital about how much she loved her puppy dog... Craig so understands how much I love my dog, Shaggy and had compared it to how much his grandmother loved her sweet puppy... and then when I was leaving work I asked Craig what would remind his dad of his grandmother..he said she loved her yard... her flowers... so this is what I came up with.... I so hope that it touches Craig and his family in a sweet memory way! thank you for looking... Hugs Jeannie
