A Pot of Flowers

I am so excited about my new chalk... this morning before I went to work I made me a bunch of flowers and when I got home...well after my nap .... I put it all together...and had so much fun highlighting my grass and leafs and pot.... I was so pleased with the outcome... I put the flowers on that gingham checked background because they reminded me so much of something you would see on the front porch in the country... hope you like...thanks for looking... love your comments! A Flower for the Lady

Oh I am really enjoying the artist chalk...I hope to learn to do lots with it....I would love to take some classes...so that I can use it to make my cuts prettier... that would be so much fun! .... I had fun with this card!!...I so love making cards!!!... I wish I had 10 in my head but I bet my sweet husband would like some dinner! Thank you so so so much for looking!!... I finally got my new toy....that is a long story so I won't go into it....but I have been wanting to try it all weekend...finally I got inspired...during the Country Music Awards no doubt.....lol...... So I cut out my butterfly and came back upstairs to watch the CMA's and got busy with the butterfly.... I used artist chalk to color the butterfly after finding a picture of a real one on the computer.... well anyway the rest of the card evolved from there... Bookmark Pogs

John-Robert is home from Auburn this weekend.... but Madison is in T-Town studying away for the second part of her CPA exam... its Monday so say a prayer for her.... I was in a creative mood... but couldn't think of a card to save my life....well I guess I could have to save my life...but one just wouldn't come to me... but when I was looking to be inspired I thought that these pogs would make the most wonderful bookmarks.... and they do!!!... Madison's were just more fun because they are prettier... but John-Roberts suit him to a T.... And the book... I chose to display the bookmarks on this book because its my new all time favorite book... John-Robert got it for me for Christmas and I almost finished it in one day... would have if I could have stayed awake... I read from 7 that morning until 2 that night...and had to work the next day... it drove me crazy to be at work with that book at home unfinished...came home that night and walked in the door and started reading...its a wonderful book....Thanks for looking...~~Jeannie

When I am all blank and I want to make something.... I ask God for ideas when I say my prayers and then I tell Him thank you because I know that He will send me some.... when I learned to do that that is when my card ideas just started coming to me.... thank you so much for looking... Lots of shading with chalk...I am learning to do that and loving it!!! ..I had began to use more chalk and Sherri Benson and her Tulip card inspired me to do it more and more... I even got me some paint brushes to apply my chalk with.. Thank you Sherri!... Lots of inking... and tiny bits of gold Stickles for the center of the flowers.

Went back and added Stickles to the center of these flowers... Noticed I forgot after the post.

Shades of Pooh and Grey

I thought of this card yesterday at work... shared the idea with the one of the sweetest people that I know, Britney.... she got so excited that I got even more excited.... left work at 6pm... went to Hobby Lobby for the paper.... out to eat.... home to sleep....and I... who minds you loves to sleep late.... woke up at 6 am and started working on it.... then my blade was too dull for the thinner papers.... so my sweet husband Robby went off to buy groceries at Wal-Mart along with a blade for my Cricut.... I was too excited to wait...I cut all my thick paper cuts while he was gone and finished up when he got home.... it was just a fun card to make... to see the end results was exciting!... I used a CREATIVE MEMORIES cutter to cut the circle for the body and tail...and to cut the ovals for his feet... I love his face but wanted a whole bunny... I was so excited...so so excited when it turned out so good!!!
